Piz Sorega is an excellent starting point for both beginner and advanced skiers.

From Piz Sorega, you have direct access to the ski area of Alta Badia and Dolomiti Superski, and it’s very convenient to move in any direction.

At the top of the cable cab, you’ll find the San Cassiano ski school, a small ski field for kids with its magic carpet, and a slope with a ski lift, suitable for beginners and for those just starting out.

By skiing down trail number 11 you can reach the Armentarola area – where buses and taxis depart to the Lagazuoi cable cab (at the top of the Falzarego Pass) – easlily and in the early morning.
From here, you can move towards the 5 Torri area, Cortina d’Ampezzo, and embark on the Giro della Grande Guerra (Tour of the Great War).

Descending the Ciampai slope – which hosts the Alta Badia Snow Park – you’ll quickly reach the Biok chairlift (here you find the Funslope, beloved by children).
From Biok, following trail number 7, you can reach Pralongià or ski straight to Corvara, where you can access the famous Sellaronda, both in an anticlockwise direction towards Arabba and in a clockwise direction towards Colfosco and Val Gardena.

The black ski slope Gran Risa, tackled by athletes in the FIS Ski World Cup Alta Badia (the World Cup race held in La Villa), is just one slope and one ski lift (Bamby) away from Piz Sorega.
Once you descend to La Villa, it is possible to move towards Gardenaccia and, by descending the Sponata slope, reach the connection that leads to San Leonardo and La Crusc.
At the bottom of the Sponata slope, you can also catch a bus that takes you to Piccolino, allowing you to quickly reach the nearby Plan de Corones ski area without needing a car.

The return to San Cassiano is easy and convenient from wherever you’re skiing.
From Piz Sorega, you can descend back to the valley using the cable cab, a sled, skiing the challenging red slope down, or an easy blue slope that is accessible to all.
Additionally, you can also descend from Pralongià II, from which the 9A slope starts and, without taking any other ski lifts, brings you back to San Cassiano or even to Armentarola.

From the Piz Sorega cable cab, the free ski bus reserved for the Costadedoi area will take you back to Ciasa Vally, where you can relax in our charming wellness area and warm up with saunas and teas!
